About the Book…
Wildfire emergencies are a growing concern in many parts of the United States and the world, including California. Mari, a therapist, and John, a high school teacher, are both native Californians. They created this free and fun coloring and activity book to help families reduce their fear while preparing for such an emergency. Their goal is to help children, families, schools and communities learn to prepare for a wildfire emergency. Mari and John hope to educate, motivate and inspire others to take first important steps for wildfire safety preparation.
