Group therapy can be an excellent way to learn, grow, and connect with others who are facing similar challenges. Clients have shared that their experience in group therapy has transformed the way they view themselves and how they relate to others, while creating supportive and lasting bonds. We facilitate the following groups for men and women in Glendora, CA.:

HEART stands for: Heal, Empower, Accept, Restore, and Trust. The HEART support group is for women and is focused on healing relationship concerns including: infidelity, trust issues, communication difficulties, divorce and separation. If you are a woman whose spouse/partner is having an affair, or has sexually betrayed you through porn or sex addiction, and you are dealing with challenges that have left you feeling hurt, angry, ashamed and confused in your relationship, please join us in a safe and confidential place as we explore, grow, learn, and heal together.

The HEART Group is facilitated by Mari A. Lee, LMFT, CSAT and meets each Wednesday evening from 7-8:30 PM in the Growth Counseling Glendora office. The group meets in 12 week modules and the fee is $65 per woman/per weekly meeting. For clients who work with me in individual or couples therapy, the fee is reduced to $45 per woman per week. The HEART group is closed at 6 members.

A pre-group session with Mari is required before joining the group, and individual work with a therapist is highly recommended.

Please note that admittance to the group is based on clinical discretion and space available. It may be determined that group therapy or on-going attendance in a group may not be the best support depending upon the client's presenting issues and healing journey.

Men's Recovery Counseling Group: Sexual Recovery Support (SRS)

"I was pretty nervous about attending group, but once I got over the initial fear, I found it to be one of the most important steps I took in my recovery and healing."

A weekly support and recovery group for men dealing with destructive sexual behavior and pornography addiction. 

The SRS group provides a safe, structured, and focused environment for men to come together to learn, grow and heal as they move toward recovery from destructive sexual addiction behaviors that have negatively impacted their lives and/or the lives of their loved ones. 

The SRS men's counseling support group is facilitated by Mari A. Lee, LMFT, CSAT and meets on Tuesday evenings from 7-8:30 PM in 12 week modules in the Growth Counseling Glendora office at $65 per client per week. For clients who work with me in individual or couples therapy, the fee is reduced to $45 per client per week. The SRS group is closed at 6 members.

A pre-group session with Mari is required before joining the group, and individual work with a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist or a therapist who understands sex addiction is mandatory in order to attend the SRS group. Please note that admittance to the group is based on clinical discretion and space available. It may be determined that the SRS group is not be the best fit depending upon the client's presenting issues and healing journey.
