Fees for Counseling

There are many factors to consider when finding the right therapist for you, your partner, or your relationship. I understand that finances can be one of those factors. I have provided the following information to help support your process forward.

GCS Fees

I work with individuals and couples via Telehealth on a weekly or twice a month basis for counseling sessions. My practice is fee-for-service. Upon request, I will provide a receipt that you may submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network provider reimbursement. Please note that some insurance companies will reimburse a portion of a therapy fee for an out-of-network provider, while other managed care companies will not. While I do not fill out insurance forms or work directly with a client's health care insurance company, you are welcome to contact your insurance company to see if they will reimburse a portion of your payment.

My fee for an individual 50-minute session is billed at $195. I offer a sliding scale for clients who are in serious financial crisis.

For couples I offer a 90-minute session which is billed at $300. I offer a sliding scale for couples who are in serious financial crisis.

Check in sessions are 25 minutes, and are billed at a rate of $100.00. Important Note: If you are currently suicidal or are facing a life-threatening emergency, please call 911 or go to your local emergency room for immediate support.

I accept Visa or Master Card. Payment is due at the beginning of the session. You can learn more about billing on my intake forms.

Payment

Payment is due at the start of each therapy session.

Appointments

Appointments can be made via email at info@growthcounselingservices.com. I do not offer a "free therapy" sessions or pre-counseling consulting calls. Your first session is a paid session and we will discuss your current challenges and next steps. If we find this is a good fit clinically, then I will set up a regular time to meet with you, go over your therapy goals, and work on a focused plan of action with tools in supporting you as you move forward in your healing process. If we find that you need a different level of support, I will be happy to provide you with referrals.

GCS Cancellation Policy

It is understandable that on the rare occasion you may need to cancel and appointment due to an emergency. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please notify me as soon as possible, and at least 72-hours in advance of your appointment so that I can support other clients in need of a session. If there is 72-hour notice, you will not be charged. Thank you for respecting this clinical boundary as my professional time for your session has been set aside specifically for you.
